is already installed, even though it doesn't work on GVFS based desktop environments (e.g. Gnome, LXDE, Unity).

There is no problem with KDE's KIO Slaves, despite the fact that you have to enter your root password every time you want to mount/unmount an encrypted VeraCrypt volume on a network hard drive.
